Life Cycles Astrology is dedicated to the furthering of Self knowledge.

Astrology can be a illuminative and fun way to get to know yourself and the world around you.  It can also provide the raw materials for self transformation and healing.

Astrologer Curt Perkins has been studying and working with astrology for the past 10 years.  His background in music, literature, mythology, and tarot provide a textured counterpart to his readings. As does his knowledge that you, at heart, are a wonderful person.  He was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1969 and grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  He has a degree in French language and literature from Davidson College in North Carolina.  Curt was fortunate to spend many years traveling the world as a professional musician.  He currently lives in East Nashville and works with wonderful folks from all over via astrology and his prior work in web development and design.

I loved my session with Curt. He is so intuitive. He … seamlessly tied in my chart  to my reality. It made things really click. Really interesting and fun. I’d recommend him wholeheartedly.   Amber K.

If you are new to Astrology, Astro.com provides a good introduction here by Liz Greene.  The Mountain Astrologer also provides a great primer.  Cafe Astrology is also an informative and entertaining place to learn the basics and more.

Astrology is a symbolic language. The Astrological chart represents the alignment of forces / energies in place at the moment of your birth. Within the circle of the astrological chart, these forces are represented by planets, signs, houses, and aspects.

Within the cycle of a human lifetime, we experience innumerable natural cycles. Our experience of the seasons is one such cycle. As is a single day’s cycle of day and night. Birth – Death – Rebirth. Our inner experience of cycles may be felt in strong emotions, recurring thoughts, and dreams.

“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”
Joseph Campbell

For those of you having a particularly stressful moment, Bach’s rescue remedy may be of assistance along with some quiet meditation.  Here are some introductory articles on meditation: 7 Myths of Meditation, and a beginners guide to Meditation.  Just focusing on calm breathing and / or taking a good long walk can also help balance the mind.
